Far from being a moron, neither am I a Tech Wizard. TotalAV has been fun to install and use, but I'm at the mercy of good will and high ratings in relying on any software I introduce to the laptop. TotalAV didn't detect much intrusion after the first run, but I didn't expect it to, based on my use. That, however, is a foolish perspective. Every bad thing that happens was in some regard unprecedented or unexpected. I'm glad I have TotalAV, but at first its pop-up "We slayed another dragon!" notifications were as annoying as ads which spring up. Right or wrong, I no longer block ads because despite what experts -- including a friend who's an IT genius -- seem to agree upon, ads are partly why your Internet provider would look like a runt in c...Näytä enemmän

We had a seemingly authentic warning that our computer had been compromised, and we were being pressurised into telephoning a supposed genuine number to request assistance to remove the threat that our computer data, documents and photographs would be destroyed.
NO! We did not fall for it! We shut down. Restarted and immediately applied our TotalAV for a Full Scan!
TotalAV was our Saviour of the Day!

My main computer has got spy and virus on it, I have payed for 6 device last year and it has been renewed this year but I can only get a trial, this is with 3 left out of 6
