Annoying company, program conflicts and scam artists

1: Purchased the program and immediately had trouble installing as there were conflicts with other programs and the TotalAV was useless 2: constant annoying emails and I had to unsubscribe 3: guess the small print says the program is auto renewal. Two months prior to expiration they tried to take money from my credit card but it was expired. Sent them an email to cancel the subscription and they still found a way to get mastercard to bill me for the renewal even though they didn't have my valid expiry date. 4. a waste of your $19

Blocks connection to network (outlook, Google, Team Viewer). It does not give indication that it wants to scan. It took me time to find out. Otherwise is OK.

Total AV very good up to Friday last but then email began to act up when clicking to open a site used regularly google showed about 30 copies of the same site .Also using the "type to search" function it kept putting up + symbols at an alarming rate without any prompting from me. ( It looked as if it could have been a virus) will test again tomorrow and update you. regards. Vincent

it is the easiest VPN software I ever use, and can't say enough about it, it's just and simply reliable and easy to use, so don't look any further when you can get it now. By the way, I'm not getting pay to tell you this, I'm just a client just like you. Cheers
Excellent function but difficult to register licence

I used the three computer licence for a year without problems but when I paid and went to renew the licence I needed to call the Help Desk to direct me to the website and delete old accounts then register the new program on each laptop. Hard to do late at night if help is not to hand. The program itself is fast and reliable, and installs rapidly. I have yet to find clear evidence of penetration such as trojan ware or other malware

Hi. I am happy with Total AV, however on my smartphone I have some annoying pop-up ads which I was hoping it would remove. I don't know where they have come from and they are very loud and disruptive. I will try to get rid of them somehow. However thought this may protect me. Maybe I need the full full cover? Thanks

The bottom line for me is the automatic servicing Total AV provides and the notices of the results. It's pretty much hands off in that way. I don't know all there is to know, but it's as easy as it needs to be to operate. It wouldn't be a mistake to purchase this product, it does what you pay for with a bit extra in my opinion.

Disappointed, may cancel. You would think any virus software with what all comes with it that it would at least protect your identy, etc. You want me to pay

I can get the same level of protection as you provide with your "premium services" for 1/2 the cost for my Laptop and free for my mobile device. Total AV definately does the job but being that I live on a fixed income I can't justify spending more money per year than my computer is actually worth. You advertized total protection for a very reasonable initial expenditure and then when I attempted to put them to the test I was greeted with the cost to upgrade. That is not "total" protection in my opinion. Not quite preditory but close.
