Can't understand how Total AV interacts with AVG Free. I have deleted AVG Free twice now, but it seems to come back!

I like the way Total AV keeps me safe from predators such as scammers and viruses. I also am pleased when they clean up my files no longer needed.

It seemed the system has not being on the job. It had to reset definitions. I expect it to be ready and scanning daily.

I bought their basic subscription priced at $2.99, for which I was charged $78. After two days of their disingenuous back-and-forth, it's down to $39. Wish I'd read the reviews before I purchased because apparently this is a common scam with them. Still trying to cancel. Murrel Patterson, Baldwin Mi

It would be nice if I didn't have to login every time my computer is restarted. If it weren't for that inconvenience, I would give it 5*s!
AV deceives

I purchased Total AV for $29 because I did not discover a way to get it free. After I had downloaded it I discovered that my purchase was scheduled for automatic annual renewal, which I had not asked for. I could not find a way of cancelling this on the website, so I sent a request to remove my credit card number. The response was a warning that I would lose the benefits of Total AV. I replied asking for the auto renewal to be cancelled. My subscription was terminated at that point, but my purchase price of $29 was not.

I never subscribed to TotalAV yet, they charged my debit card $99.95 for one year!! I cannot reach anyone and want them to credit my account. I don't know how they got the number on my debit card. I live below the poverty level and could never afford a subscription for $99.95. I will keep trying to reach them and if there are new developments, I will let you know here. Monique Lacroix, CANADA.
